FAQ

Questions we get asked

Is there a minimum?

No. One unit is fine, and so is a truckload. We send a parcel label for small shipments and arrange freight for pallets.

How fast do I hear back?

Within two hours in business hours. Outside them, first thing the next morning.

How and when do I get paid?

Electronically - wire transfer, PayPal, Venmo or Zelle, whichever you prefer - on the day your shipment arrives at our facility and passes inspection.

Who pays the shipping?

We do. Parcel shipments get a prepaid label; anything on a pallet, we book and pay for the freight. Tell us whether there is a dock or a forklift at the pickup address.

What if a unit is not what I described?

You choose. We either return it to you at our expense, or send a revised offer for that unit, which you can accept or decline. Everything else in the shipment is paid as agreed.

Do you buy used equipment?

Yes, when it is a model we know sells. We are mostly after new surplus, but a good used unit of the right family is worth sending. Say whether it was working when it came out.

I cannot find the part number.

Send photos of the unit from a couple of angles, including any label or printing on it, and we will identify it. Most equipment can be placed from a photo.

Do you buy whole lots or only the good pieces?

We make one offer for the lot as listed. If some of it is not something we buy, we say which pieces and offer on the rest, so you know before you pack anything.

Where does the equipment go?

It is resold to people who need it. We are the direct buyer, not a listing service or a broker.

I am outside the United States.

Ask. We arrange freight for the US; for anything further, email us the list and where it is and we will tell you whether we can make it work.

How long have you been doing this?

Since 2010. The company is founder-run and based in New York.
