Bench, portable and mixed-signal scopes with their probes and options, from a lab clear-out or a single instrument. Email the models and get an offer in two hours.
Selling oscilloscopes
We buy oscilloscopes: benchtop digital scopes, mixed-signal and mixed-domain scopes, handheld ScopeMeters, high-bandwidth Infiniium and WaveRunner instruments, sampling mainframes and the probes, modules and option licences that go with them. One scope from a bench or every instrument from a lab that closed. Email the model from each front panel, the bandwidth and channel count, and a photo, and you will have an offer within two hours. The valuation is free and there is no obligation. If you accept, we send a prepaid label, or arrange freight for a lab clearance, and you are paid the day the shipment arrives.
Instruments with or without their probes, and the accessories sold with them: passive, active, differential and current probes, probe power supplies, logic analyser pods, sampling modules and plug-ins, option licences, rack mount kits and carrying cases. Probes and modules are worth listing on their own; a set of active probes can be worth as much as the scope. If the meters, source measure units or bench supplies from the same lab are also going, send those numbers in the same email.
Tektronix TDS, DPO, MDO, MSO and TLA, from the TDS3000 and DPO4000 bench scopes to the DPO7000 and MSO70000 series. Keysight and Agilent InfiniiVision DSO-X and MSO-X, and the Infiniium 9000, S-series and Z-series. LeCroy and Teledyne LeCroy WaveRunner, WaveSurfer, WavePro and HDO. Fluke ScopeMeter 190 and 120 series. Rohde & Schwarz RTB, RTM and RTO. Yokogawa DL and DLM. Also Rigol, Siglent, OWON, GW Instek, Pico Technology and National Instruments PXI digitisers. Every brand we take is listed below. If yours is not there, send the number anyway and we will tell you either way.
By manufacturer
We buy benchtop and portable oscilloscopes, mixed signal scopes, sampling mainframes and the probes and modules that go with them. Calibrated or out of cal, working or for parts if the model is worth it.
The model on the front panel tells a buyer the family; the bandwidth, channel count and installed options tell them which instrument it is. A Tektronix DPO4054 and a DPO4104 are the same chassis at 500 MHz and 1 GHz. A Keysight DSOX3034A may carry a bandwidth upgrade and serial decode licences that double what it is to a buyer. Send the model, the bandwidth and channel count printed beside it, and a photo of the utility or options screen showing what licences are installed. Say which probes, leads and modules come with it, and whether the calibration sticker is in date.
New or unused instruments, still boxed or bought for a project that ended, are the easiest to price. We also buy scopes from a working bench. Say which it is. For a used scope, tell us that it powers up and triggers, note the calibration date, and photograph the screen on, the rear panel and the probes together.
Electronics labs, test departments, repair shops and universities replace their scopes every few years, and a lab closure or a bench refresh frees up a shelf of instruments at once, usually with the probes and accessories still in the drawer. Those shelves and drawers are what we are asking you to send.
