Five steps

How it works

The whole process is built to take up as little of your time as possible. Most sellers exchange three emails with us, start to finish.

1. Send the part numbers

Email us the catalogue number from each nameplate, the quantity, whether it is new or used, and a photo of the nameplate. A photo of the whole lot helps. You do not need to know what the equipment is or what it is worth - the number tells us. If there is no nameplate, send photos of the unit from a couple of angles and we will work it out.

2. Get an offer within two hours

In business hours we reply within two hours with a firm offer for the lot. Outside business hours, first thing the next morning. The offer is for the equipment as described; it does not change if you accept.

3. Ship it, on us

If you accept, we send a prepaid shipping label for anything that goes by parcel, and arrange and pay for the freight on anything that needs a pallet. Tell us whether there is a dock or a forklift where it is shipping from and we will book the right truck. You pack it; we cover everything from there.

4. We inspect it the day it arrives

Every shipment is checked against the list the day it lands at our facility. If everything matches, that is the end of the inspection. If a unit is not what was described - a different model, damage in transit, parts missing - you decide what happens: we return it at our expense, or we send a revised offer for that unit and you accept or decline it.

5. Get paid the same day

Payment goes out the day the shipment arrives and passes inspection, electronically, by wire transfer, PayPal, Venmo or Zelle - whichever you prefer. No net terms, no cheque in the post.

Where the equipment goes

It is resold to people who need it. We are the buyer, not a broker: the offer we make is what we pay, and there is no listing fee, commission or waiting for someone else to buy first.
